SANDRA'S VOICE

United through Humility

December 10, 2010

This is one of the best quotes to keep in mind when trying to bring a community together.

Are your hearts tender and compassionate?  Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.  Don't look out only for your own interest, but take an interest in others too.

Revising Screenplays

November 19, 2010
Writing, writing, writing, that is what I am doing.  I am simultaneous revising three screenplays:  The Allegory of the Cave, Pearl and Revive Us Again.  I alternate weekly each screenplay.  I love the editing process because it helps me to develop as a writer.  I become more focus on content and copy editing, and to be honest, I enjoy the ride.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Don't Shoot; I Want to Grow Up

August 24, 2010
Sunday's headline:  31 days, 303 shots, 33 dead.

Where are the voices of reason?

Where are the voices of hope?

Where are the voices justice?

Where are the voices of faith?

Where are the voices of peace?

Where are the voices of love?

Reclaiming our Streets

August 9, 2010

Are you tired of the sound of violence and feel stagnant or paralyzed?  Well, so am I, and it is time that we take
back our streets.  We cannot do it by pointing fingers or malicious talk but by transforming the lives of the
children and accountability from the parents or guardians.  It is also time for tough love.
